SPIRIT "HOG TIES" REV. DAVID!
On March 14, Rev. David Phears announced to the church gathering, his decision to stay in Apple Valley and be our Minister. Everyone was delighted and are looking forward to the upcoming lessons on Sunday mornings. Everyone is encouraged to attend and support the spiritual growth known as the Ponderosa SAGE Ministry. His duties will include Ministering on Sundays, teaching classes, participating in visioning and healing circles, the radio ministry and community outreach, and participation in the organization of the Church as necessary. We are honored to have him as our Minister, and promise to support him and his family.
What*s Happening?
The Organizing Committee has been hard at work creating the internal structure for our new church. It was decided that there would be a "loose format" consisting of four Action Groups. These groups involve Spiritual Growth, Children/Youth and Outreach, Administration, and Abundance. Participation in any group is voluntary and flexible. New By-Laws are being drafted which outline the responsibilities for each group. For more info, contact Pat Alice.

Affirmation: I am the Love that I express everywhere I G.R.O.W.
April 11: "Growth Is Mandatory, Joy Is Optional"

April 18: "Love Is Growing Stronger Every Day!"
Affirmation: I can*t lose with the Laws I use!
April 25: "My Garden is Grown And I Am Grateful!!"
Affirmation: I am standing tall in my field of dreams and all I see is Love!

A New Class is Coming!!
Attention all Ponderosa SAGE Partners! We have witnessed Spirit in action as this Ministry has unfolded. Now it is time to set the stage for quantum leaps into the future of our beloved teaching and our church. The first ever Spiritual Growth class is now being offered!
Sign up, show up, and let*s G.R.O.W. up together in Agape Love. The title for the new class is "5 Gifts For An Abundant Life." Create a consciousness of wealth by learning to give your gifts! We will study, question, discuss, laugh, heal, reveal and embody the following 5 principles:
Gratitude, Forgiveness, Intentions, Tithing, Surrender.
This is an 8 week course, three hours per week and the only cost is the book and notebook. There is also a request for tithing commitment during the class to practice the learning process. The class will start the first week of June and will be either Tuesday or Wednesday evening (What is your preference?)
The creator of the 5 Gifts Process, Dianne Harmony, will co-facilitate the first class, which will be following the service on the first Sunday in June. The other classes will be as scheduled during the week.
Look for the sign up sheet at Church. Everyone is welcome. Let*s get ready to go deeper in Spirit as we create greater experiences as individuals and as a Spiritual Community.
(By the way...this is the first time this class is being offered in the High Desert)
Chag Samayach
To Jewish People everywhere who are celebrating Passover, the great holy day of liberation, may we all join you at your Seder table this night and spiritually participate in the ceremony of sharing the story of the exodus of the Hebrews from bondage into freedom.
Let us celebrate our spiritual delivery from the oppression of ignorance and limitation to a state of liberating our souls to be all they are created to be. Today, let us stop and acknowledge the enormous courage and commitment we have demonstrated in our quest to live in God. By telling our story of the journey to enlightenment, we have the opportunity to give thanks and bless ourselves and each other for being so willing to go to God for God; to transcend circumstances in the name of God*s vision for our lives; to die daily to old beliefs and patterns that appear to limit us; to be adamantly committed to out daily spiritual practices of meditation and prayer; and to practice forgiveness at every opportunity. Led by inspiration and vision and sometimes pain, we are emerging into the souls of freedom and love we came here to be. This is indeed a holiday to celebrate. Glory be.
Today I take some time to stop and acknowledge myself for my own personal Passover from ignorance to enlightenment. I share my story in my journal, or with a prayer partner or practitioner, and I allow myself to bask in the wonder of my spiritual unfoldment.
