S.A.G.E. Fellowship, Discussion & Study Group

    Our study group is currently on hold until we find a more permanent location to meet. What you find below is the original format for the original study group. When we move into our more permanent location, one that we are not having to share with other business concerns, this group will reconvene.

    This element of our ministry is an energetic and refreshing bimonthly boost to the spirit. Every week that we attend the Sunday service we are renewed and reinforced to meet each new day in our life. The Thursday Fellowship meetings provide us with a boost that does much the same thing. You may have heard the saying, “Too much of a good thing is bad.” Well not in this case. Too much of this good thing is good and only good.

    Each Fellowship meeting has a different subject. We have discussed our beliefs in God, Satin, heaven and how our life quality has changed as we embrace this “New Thought” philosophy. One week we were introduced to hypnosis, what it is and isn’t. We were all invited to be hypnotized with the suggestion of a wonderful, resting and restoring nights sleep. We only have to take two deep breaths when we are ready to sleep and we now have a wonderful restful sleep. Another week we enjoyed a drum circle. A drum circle or rhythm circle, simply put, is a group of people gathered into a circle for the purpose of making music. It can be as simple as three friends in a living room, or as involved as a thousand. We had more than three but less than a thousand.

    We decide upon upcoming areas of exploration on an on-going basis. Some of the suggestions for future meetings are:
  • We will all bring something that we have read and share a part of it. We will read and discuss everyone’s inspiration. And yes, you can still come if you don’t have something to read.
  • Pictionary type games
  • Ice breaker activities embracing New Thought ideals and themes
  • More ideas are expressed each time the fellowship meets, please join with us and share your ideas.
